  • February 2025: I’m selected as one of the two PhD students from IU to join CRA-WP Grad Cohort Workshop in Denver this year! I get to share about my dissertation research, learn about starting a career in academia, and most importantly, I will share my experience with high schoolers who are interested in computing! Excited to make new connections and give back to the community!

  • January 2025: I’m accepted to the GROUP Doctoral Consortium! Looking forward to attending GROUP2025 at Hilton Head Island!

  • September 2024: I’m selected as a DigiStars Scholar and will share my dissertation work at the University of Utah in the beautiful SLC😍!

  • July 2024: I received the Luddy PhD Teaching Fellowship Award and got to lead and teach my own class on computing and information ethics! Can’t wait to start teaching this exciting topic to 40+ students💪!!

  • May 2024: I’m going to CHI2024 in Hawaii! Can’t wait to catch up with old friends and meet new folks🤩

  • April 2024: I passed my dissertation proposal🎉!!! I am now officially ABD. Super grateful for my awesome advisor and committee members who supported me along the way!

  • April 2024: Our paper “The struggle is a part of the experience”: Engaging discontents in the design of family meal technologies is accepted to CSCW! Looking forward to sharing this work on unpacking family dynamics and tensions soon. In the meantime, ping me if you fancy a read on our preprint :)

  • March 2024: I gave two guest lectures on social informatics class to 60+ IU Informatics undergrads. Had my first class audit as well and received very positive feedback! Excited to have this opportunity to continue building and improving my teaching.
